- A clutch kit is a selection of parts that are used to replace a broken clutch or upgrade an existing assembly. Each clutch kit comes with a clutch disc and a clutch pressure plate. A

How long does a clutch kit last?
- It's a difficult question to answer really, as it all depends on your driving style.
Sudden clutch kit failure
- Clutch kits tend to fail in one of two ways- either suddenly or gradually. Sudden clutch kit failure is most often caused by a broken or loose clutch cable, linkable or a failed hydraulic master/ slave cylinder. There can also be leaks in the hydraulic line or even the disc could be
contaminated with something like dirt or debris.
Signs That Your Clutch May Be Going Bad:
- Noises may indicate a problem: your
clutch pedal may make noise, or your transmission may make noise when the car is in neutral. You may hear squealing or growling when you push the pedal or grinding sounds when you shift gears.
