A: Yes, we can tow you in. We use the AA Towing Services, they charge the AA flat rate per km.

A: Yes, we can provide you with a car at R300 per day plus the fuel you use.

A: Mayfair Gearbox has 19 branches in 4 countries, who are always available. Mayfair Gearbox also has 24/7 roadside assistance.

A: Yes we are and the market leaders in our industry. We have been in business for 30 years and have the most sophisticated testing equipment and the most highly trained technicians in Africa.

A: Sometimes we fix  transmission issue's by doing minor adjustments, software updates or by replacing a battery or a fuse. The way is to get your vehicle or unit to us assessed and checked, free of charge.

A: 1. First we would like to assess your unit and see if any external parts might be causing your problem, like a clutch adjustment, gear lever, sensor, wiring etc.

2. We keep over 4,000 transmissions in stock nationwide so we can fit any popular model vehicle with a reman exchange unit ‘same day’. 

3. Otherwise we could do a free strip and quote which should take a few days.

A: Our standard warranty is one year, unlimited kilometres. Some cheaper ’repair options’ offer limited warranties. 

A: Yes, of course. Get your vehicle or unit to any of our reman centres or branches around the country for a free check and diagnosis.

A: We will offer you many options, from a reman exchange to a repair option and in some cases a used gearbox or minor repair.
